Talking Your favorite Christine Tusk track & why?

you favorite chris song on Tusk?

Besides Think About Me, which is more of single...I think I like Never Forget. I like the sweetness-vibe it has, and I think it's a great closer for the album.

"Brown Eyes" is my fave because I think it's perfectly produced and sung and it has that subtle sexiness about it that I cannot resist. I think it's just gorgeous. "Never Forget" is a close second basically for the reasons you said, Brandon--it has this sweetness about it and also this warmth. It just makes me feel all cozy when I listen to it.

My fav. has always been Never Make Me Cry, mainly because it seems so heartfelt and Christine seemed so proud of it on the Tusk Doc. Really, though, for some reason it just touches me.

Ironically, it always makes me cry when I listen to it. But then again I always thought that by "You'll never make me cry" she always meant "You most certainly will make me cry."

I really adore Christine's TUSK tracks, for different reasons. I love the subtle sexiness of Brown Eyes, the happy lightness of Never Forget, the jaunty little rockingness of Think About Me, the poignancy of Never Make Me Cry, the gorgeous, easy melody and harmonies of Honey Hi. I don't really care as much for Over and Over, I guess. The other ones are really stellar, to me, though. Never have I liked so many of Chris's songs in one album.

6. "Honey Hi"

Hillary said everything that's necessary to say about "Brown Eyes". "Never Make Me Cry" is brilliant for me because of the mix of intimacy and distance that Christine and the producers achieved. And "Over And Over" turned out to be great live, check out the 1980 live album version for a spirited performance by the entire band.

Yes, that's probably my favorite, too. Like the best stuff on "Tusk," it's got that mid' '70s pop-radio vibe to it but also that underlying hesitancy & softness. It's an exercise in style.

In order:

1. Brown Eyes(the sexiest Fleetwood Mac song ever)
2. Think About Me(Fleetwood Mac's most underrated single, great collaboration between Chris & Lindsey)
3. Never Make Me Cry(I love the Tusk album version, but the piano demo version is even better-as good as Brown Eyes, in my opinion.)
4. Never Forget(soft & sweet, the perfect album closer)
5. Over And Over(even better live)
6. Honey Hi(I like this song, but it's the only Chris Tusk song that I don't love.)

It's all a very close contest between them though. She really shines on Tusk

I adore Over & Over, it's one of my very favorite Christine songs. Brown eyes is, as you all have said, incredibly sexy, and Honey Hi just has goregous harmonies and wonderful simplicity. NMMC, though, is the one song I don't like. It bugs me

My fave's:

Brown Eyes
Never Forget
Honey Hi
Think About Me
Over and Over
Never Make Me Cry

I love the live version of 'Brown Eyes' on the 'Mirage' tour ~ Christine sounds absolutely incredible! And I love the combo of hers and Stevie's voices on the end of 'Never Forget'...
