Christine McVie live 1983
I've just been watching the Country Club show from 1983. Its struck me;
a) How much I'd under-appreciated So Excited- such a jaunty number thats sadly been lost to obscurity. b) What a great version the band did of World Turning. They really rocked it. |

So Excited was actually the third single released and Christine performed it on Solid Gold. The song has a country feeling which took me awhile to get used to it. But its got great hooks and great playing.
Her 1984 band was so good.

It sure was a great band.I saw her on this tour in Virginia and I was very impressed with the solo show she performed. Great selection of songs. |

They really jammed a great show. This made me love Christine so much. I really understood what she brought to the band by seeing her solo show. It was stellar.
