Default Such A Shame

Hey guys.

I thought you might like to hear this, and since I posted it on the Seven Wonders board it only seemed fair to post it here as well.

The following is an MP3 download of a Walter Egan song called "Such a Shame" from his 1983 album Wild Exhibitions. The album is long out of print with no rerelease in sight so I don't feel bad about sharing this.

Walter recorded with Christine again in 1985 for what would eventually be called Mad Dog - The Lost Album, which was released on compact disc in 2000 and is still available for purchase at Amazon.com and other retailers.

Now I wonder why that is? I have all three of the Walter Egan songs with Christine backing vocals. I especially like "Silvery Sleep" from the Lost Album.

I just checked Amazon. The Lost Album is out of print. You can only buy the album from third party sellers. So, I'll post the two songs with Christine later today.

You might want to check again.

The CD titled The Lost Album is out of print, with Renaissance Records going under, but the UK Version (Mad Dog - The Lost Album, released on Red Steel Music) is still very much in print, and is actually a better buy anyway as it includes A LOT of bonus tracks not heard on the U.S. release.

It's available at Amazon.com

OK. I never checked for an import. I won't post any of those tracks. I never post or share anything that is currently in print. Thanks for checking.

No problem. I figured you probably didn't know about the import. I have MP3 clips of both of the Christine songs as well as most of the Mad Dog bonus tracks posted on my website. Amazon's price on it is a little high so if anyone's interested in the cd they can probably get it cheaper elsewhere.
