PG Hall of Fame concert w/Santana
Thinking back to this & remembering....
I was very impressed with his soloing on Black Magic Woman. He was playing in a unique advanced style--maybe with influence from Hank Marvin? Not really sure I would call it Rock (and it definitely wasn't Jazz or especially bluesy) It would be great to hear him do an instrumental jam project, though from his interviews it doesn't seem as if he would be interested. --Joel |
