Fleetwood Mac Russia Tour 1978?

Ok Ive been reading this book i bought off someone awhile ago called Rumours N' Fax



And it says that at the time of writing "they are contemplating their summer 1978 plans to tour Russia, which ought to be a much-publicized affair (though their attempts at interesting a major television network in covering the goodwill concert tour from start to finish seem to have fizzled out)."

Obviously it didn't happen but does anyone know anything about this, cause its the only place ive read anything about the topic

Rolling Stone published Random Notes about it, & Mick mentions it in a paragraph in his 1990 book. You can find the Random Notes in the Blue Letter Archives.
