As for LB, he pretty much does the same set each night, though he is to be lauded for the changes and spontenaeity he shows at times!!!
Still he did a new song in a new arrangement on national television. Hurray, lindsey, Strand sings a chanson for you, because you have the guts to do something different.

No sound here at work, so no idea what that was about, but comments like these always make me cringe:

I'll say something positive about it... at least it wasn't "Not Too Late" for the fifth time!

Nah, seriously, it wasn't bad. I especially LOVED what he was doing during the last 45 seconds or so of the song. Very pretty.
My mom thought the whole song was terrific.

I'm still trying to figure out, though, how these "stripped down" songs can sound more busy and "cluttered" than his music ever did before, even when he was throwing toy pianos, chair-backs, cowbells and the kitchen sink into the mix! Guess it's just not my thing.

I thought he did sound good. Didn't f*** up (...remembering the R&RHOF induction show). I was expecting two songs, since Stevie got two. I think Larry King went too long. And the "glutes" lady, was she demonstrating how to get a skinny ass, 'cause she has no business doing that.

Just wanted to throw this out there. When Stevie did "Landslide", she needed the two guitarists. I've seen her do it with her guy, don't know the guitar player's name, and during the "break", I don't know what it's called, when there is that solo, I've seen her regular guy play the rhythm and they had someone on keyboards do the lead. Yesterday, one guitarist did the rhythm and her regular guy played the lead. I have to laugh. Is Lindsey the only one who can pull that off?

Anyway, any exposure is exposure. I was happy to see him on.

Sharon (from Buffalo) (I'm only saying I'm from Buffalo 'cause I've seen another Sharon around the Ledge).

However, LB and co. sounded fine...Just wished LB would get a longer segment on one of the talk shows.

I won't say anything about the comment on Stevie ( ) but I agree about Lindsey, I'm really happy he did SUD since I think it's a masterpiece.

No, I was unable to make it to the Atlanta show because of work. Sadly, I missed La Nicks with Petty for the same reason

I thought LB did a great job. Loved the arrangement of this song.

Were you just using toy pianos as random example of the plethora of instruments and sounds he would use or did he actually use one somewhere? Because I am seriously obsessed with the sound of toy pianos and I would flip if I heard one in a Lindsey song.

I was watching this with my uncle and he said after watching Lindsey;"Boy, Stevie starts out with this guy and then blows him away."
I thought it was alright...I actually was expecting Show You How...btw...what was that weird smirk he made after the song?
