You and me both. I felt like going through the monitor, grabbing his collar and shakinghim, screaming "Linds, baby, new moves, new poses, new clothes and new speeches! For the love of God, do us all a favor!"
But I didn't cause I love him too much. |

Well, sorry girls, but it's no rehearsed pose, like Stevie's airguitar or drumrolls. It's a neurotic spasm. I don't know which is worse.

He saves the rehearsed stuff for his speeches about spontaneity!

He's a neurotic personality. He WANTS to be spontane, but he can't....only while playing.....when his muse takes over.

Yikes, I just got to see this and I agree that Lindsey looks as if he is having spasms while he is singing. I think that Lindsey was trying way too hard to get into their music but he was not actually feeling it. He needs to take a chill pill for sure. Either that or a laxative.
Oh and Lindsey with his "Not Too Late" explanation was kind of odd. I liked the part where the blond guy look at Lindsey like "ok is it that hard and complicated to have kids?" |

Ok, I finallly got to watch this in its entirety (on-line) and I have to saw, I love it LBT really do sound like FM and I like that. I'm going out tomorrow and getting their cd. Their up for a grammy for best country album (against the Chicks ). I think Lindsey really enjoyed doing it. LBT were just staring at him, like he was some sort of legend guitar god (and so they should be). Could have done without Big Love, but oh well, it's like Stevie's "Edge" I guess. Overall good show, diffinetly one for the video libary

I got a copy of Crossroads and I watched it about 4 times over the holidays and LB's vocals sound soooooo good on "Bring It On Home". The song is perfect for him. I love it. Man he really rocks out on the Chain too. Refresh my memory, does he do it like that with FM?

I am way behind, but I just saw this special this weekend while I was home for Christmas. My brother and his girlfriend are country fans, including Little Big Town, and my brother happened to have a DVD of this lying around and suggested I check it out. I admit, I'm not really a country fan at all, but damn, was I sold immediately. I'm sure Lindsey's presence had a good bit to do with why I liked it so much, but the whole sound just made me so happy. I can't remember the last time I sat watching something and felt so immediately into it, it was probably actually The Dance. I thought Lindsey sounded great on the Little Big Town songs, especially "Boondocks" (my favorite) and "Bring It On Home" and that LBT sounded fabulous on "The Chain" and "Go Your Own Way". And yeah, he was spazzy, but how often do we see Lindsey singing while his hands have nothing to do? Apparently his hands really don't know what to do! I also thought he was really into the music, like when the band would be singing and he'd be behind them playing, and even a few times, the song would end and he'd slap hands, I thought it was completely genuine and it looked like he was having an awesome time playing with them. Only some of the interview segments seemed a little forced or unnatural, but still, I was really impressed with the whole thing. Now I'm all about finding out more about Little Big Town and hope Lindsey continues to collaborate like this in the future!
