OMG, I know, right?

And, when are they going to play some Elmore, B.B., and Etta with the early influences??? Or The Shadows???

I’m only Checking in once in while to see if they play a Lindsey solo song, which they have not which is such a slap in the f#cking face. They should be ashamed.
To be fair, I also haven’t heard any Crowded House or Split Enz.

Just listened today and yesterday. I heard a lot of Lindsey songs, including ISA and Family Man.

Christine described Hold Me as a duet with Lindsey and I thought, "Oh no, she said Voldemort's name!"

Hi, I'm lurking and still here.

I never thought Mick would do this. It's not that my opinion of him was ever high, but this is something I thought was beneath him. My thoughts are quite venomous.

I fear that casual fans only want to hear the hits and don't really care who performs them, so the tour should be a nominal success. Michele

I think the concern is that Lindsey's solo work will not be played. Also possibly BuckVie. This would be a shame as this would be a great way for him to be heard by a new audience.

Your prediction is spot-on.

Obviously super curious about your venomous thoughts.

I've honestly gone through the five stages of grief.

I'm now at the acceptance stage.

It may not have worked out how *I* wanted it, but I optimistically hope that Lindsey will rise from the ashes and be super-productive.

I wish I had any admiration for the guys Mick hired, but Stevie and Christine are great artists and if this results in more recording from them... then so be it.

Maybe Mick, Stevie, Lindsey were all in serious pain and it all needed to end.

Great songs again today

Gypsy early edition
When the sun goes down
Station Man
Hypnotized

Have not heard When the sun goes down in quite awhile. What a great song. I add it to the list of songs I love from BTM.

Any Lindsey solo or LBCM?

I will check in regularly to confirm.

Holy smokes---just heard Teen Beat!!

Prior to that Little Lies with Chris explaining she had the music written first but no lyrics. She sat out by the pool then after awhile a verse came to her.

I heard John Stewart's Gold yesterday and Whenever I call You Friend. Songbird on now.

I’ve been listening to the Sirius channel for the past few days and for the most part, like what I’m hearing. I haven’t been a loyal follower of commercial radio in decades, so I’m pretty critical. My go to has been kcrw in Santa Monica since the mid 90’s.

But with a catalog so deep, I can’t for the life of me figure out why I keep hearing tracks from “Time”. It’s easily the biggest dog that’s ever been released by the band. I’ve never known of a bigger collection of lazy uninspired songs by one band, capable of so much more.

I know I haven’t given it enough listens but I’m definitely hearing way too much attention paid to Behind The Mask and Time. Clearly the playlists have been “curated” by Mick.

Those two albums are the only ones that make me cringe several times throughout.
On the other hand, I’m hearing lots of interesting b sides and live tracks.
I hope they can get someone in to shape the playlists with more diversity.
It’s an interesting project and I think people will stick with it if they can change up the programming.

I actually appreciate the tracks from BTM and Time. You can hear Gypsy, Dreams, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way on any channel. I love the deep cuts from less known albums. I wish the inspiration songs were not played as much.
I do think they can still dig deeper. I have heard only one Christine solo song. Nothing from ITM and nothing Lindsey solo yet. They played Nothing Ever Changes by Stevie on Friday. That was cool.

Agreed, I'm enjoying cuts from all albums. I'm impressed by the depth. I don't need to listen to their hits all day.

Default Wow.

"Imperial Hotel" is playing. A nice surprise, along with hearing "Beautiful Child" and "Red Rover" yesterday.

The Mac station keeps surprising me.
