Default War On Drugs - Lost In The Dream

KCRW has been playing the War On Drugs new album "Lost In The Dream" a lot lately.
Several songs on the album remind me so much of Tango In The Night era Fleetwood Mac -- or just Lindsey Buckingham solo work.

If you haven't heard them yet, I highly recommend this album.
They're from Philadelphia and Kurt Vile used to be in the band.
Definitely one to watch and yet another Fleetwood Mac-influenced record.

Thanks for the heads up. I've read their name before but not heard their stuff. I can sorta hear the FM/LB comparison...particularly in the drums, the layered production, and the treated vocals.

Yes, it does sound like Lindseystuff, but more his first GOS batch than tango to my ears. And a bit OOTC. But it is an awesome album. especially the first half.

Specifically the tracks "Red Eyes", "Disappearing", and "Burning" feel very Fleetwood Mac to me. In all the best ways.

But I also hear Dylan, Springsteen and Tom Petty and maybe some Dire Straits in other tracks on the album.
