Glad to find another Elvis fan! My favourites so far are Pills and Soap, Everyday I write the book and Shipbuilding.

I love First Aid Kit. Their singer's voice reminds me so much of Cass Elliot from The Mamas & the Papas.

Mary Hopkin - Earth Song/Ocean Song (1971), her second album.

There was a seam of great vocal folk pop recorded in the U.K. (singers from Wales, England, Scotland) circa 1968-72 unlike anything before or since IMO. This is the latest album along these lines to totally blow my mind... Sandy Denny (with and without Fairport Convention), Bread, Love & Dreams, Barbara Dickson, The Watersons, Pentangle... check any of those out.

Earlier tonight I was listening to Casey Kasems American Top 40 from August 14th 1976.Great era of music.

Fleetwood Mac with "Say You Love Me" coming in at 20.

The number 1 tune for the week was Elton John and Kiki Dee with "Dont Go Breaking My Heart"

Louder. A little more vibrato-y.
