Well, maybe now. But during the Tusk years, he looked like he had front row seats for the weekly screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Thank you for scanning and posting the article. It's great and really refreshing to read an honest interview that isn't overrun with narcissism.
I'm really happy for Chris -- although a little sad that she lost so much time over the years living so isolated. |

Thank you, Elliefw! I really appreciate getting the chance to read this interview. I'm glad she talked about the following things:
1. How cool the "under-produced" "Crazy 'Bout You Baby" still sounds. 2. How important Bob Welch was to the development of the FM sound. 3. Her strong dislike of Dave Mason, which I had known about but never heard her directly reference in a interview before. 4. Her honest assessment of Mirage (which I still think is better than Tango). 5. Her mentioning "Remember Me" as a great song--it was my favorite Pre-BN era Christine song for ages. 6. Her more-than-hint that Eddie Q's role in her work was negligible (though I'm not sure how accurate this is...) 7. And her anecdote about the car. I had no idea her isolation and paranoia had gotten that pronounced. She must have been in a very dark place for several years. |

It also explains a bit more about what happened with that album. It's nothing I hadn't suspected, based on a call I had twenty years ago with John Courage and what Richard Dashut and Mick have said in recent years. (Dave's own fans basically said he was kind of an ass when I ran a Mason fanpage.)
