Default What songs would you like FM to do covers of?

Are there any songs that you'd like FM to cover? Would it depend upon who's doing the singing? Different songs for the different voices?

This is just something that popped into my head after reading about Mick's blues band doing a cover of "These Boots were made for Walking".

They may do Farmer's Daughter to close, if they like. Other than that NO COVERS. Only songs written by those three songwriters. No other songs from outsiders, no other songs from former FM members. This means no Blue Letter either.

Too little time left in this life.

NONE. No covers. Not needed. Too many songs of their own to play.

Yeah, no covers. The harmonies on Farmer's Daughter were lushly gorgeous, but there so many Fleetwood Mac-penned songs I'd rather hear than any cover.

Along the grand tradition of Fleetwood Mac Fan Pipe Dreams, they could do a different cover each night, just for fun, just for sheer love of the music.

Hahahah.

Anyway somewhere in my personal La La Land I nurture dreams of hearing Chris sing some Dusty Springfield.

None. I think the Mac are kind of "above that" if that makes sense.

What songs would you like FM to do covers of? None of above. They got to check their demo collections. They probably have plenty to chose from.

Id they cover some tunes.Pick a popular tune. Not those oddball tunes .

I think people are mis-reading this as "Which covers would you like to be added to FM's concert set"? The band could do a cover without bumping something from their set. They could go on BBC Live Lounge and do something totally left-field and brilliant.

Honestly, does anyone genuinely wish Stevie Nicks's rendition of At Last didn't exist, and that she just sang Rhiannon that night instead or something?

I always thought a ragged Nicks-led vocal of Diamonds are Forever, with Lindsey doing an intense guitar arrangement, would be brilliant. And add a considerable old-and-bitter-jilted-lover edge to the song. In my head the whole thing is flawless and adds a lot of dimension to the lyrics.

I would love to hear some covers from FM.... Especially from this blues band from England in the late 60's.... I hear that Mick and John are real familiar with this band's music too!
