Unhappy Will Fleetwood Mac do ANY PUBLICITY for this new album???!!!

I know the commercials are cool, but maybe an interview or something.....honestly....its been a while since we've heard any news on the album......

I have NEVER come across a band with such poor publicity as Fleetwood Mac....

Here at The Ledge we probably represent a fraction of 1% of the world's hardcore FM fans, and yet between the 1000s of us it takes us months to squeeze out the slightest bit of info. from the net and magazines....so imagine the darkness all the other worldwide FM fans must be in! Most of them probably don't even know that there is a Very Best Of CD about to be released in two weeks and that there will be a new album coming very soon.......

And I won't even bother talking about the idiocity that is the releasing of an edited, most likely UNenhanced, poor tracklisted (IMO) VBO CD here in the UK, with (currently) absolutely ZERO promotion.

And then they say "FM isn't that popular in the UK...."

It's pathetic.

I concur 100% with you Seteca. It is such a shame that a band like FM could have such bad publicity skills....After seeing that one disc thing(I dont even consider it an album) that they are throwing at you in the U.K., I really feel sorry for you guys! Its just not right.....but thats just my opinion....But honestly, we need someone to say the album is almost done or something! This silence is not reassuring at all!

I think after the first of the year, we're all going to either be crapping in our pants over the amount of times we see Mick, Stevie or Lindsey (or all-together) doing TV interviews, radio show studio guestings, etc. Or, get SICK of hearing their names by the time the new album is released.

I really DON'T expect them to do much in regards to the GH album coming out, though.

This is part of the publicity. But I know what ya mean. This is just the FIRST step in the big move towards their return. I hope they can do some type of interview to talk about the new album though. But we will get that on the CD.

I would hope that they would do some kind of publicity for the new album. I would love to see them make an appearance on David Letterman.. and maybe grace the pages in some music magazines.. maybe even do another cover for Rolling Stone.
