Question Which Version Of "Dreams" Do You Like The Most?

The studio version. I love Stevie's vocals along with Lindsey's for the chorus. I like the melodic beat, along with the sterio guitar.

As much as I do like the studio version, the live versions just bring the song to life more. The studio version is just a little too soft for me, not that Dreams is a hard song...maybe the word "subtle" fits better. I like the Tango version a lot because it's so much more upbeat, so I picked it, but a close second goes to The Dance. Also with the Tango version, Stevie's voice has a lot more power behind it, at least it sounds like it to me. Her voice echoes a lot, which I don't know if that's mic enhancement or what, but those echoes just makes it sound even more powerful.

Definitely the studio version for me. Don't know...just don't care for this song live much.

the studio version is my pick...then i'd have to say sin city. Any of the early live Rumours tour versions are pretty good. As a matter of fact, the FM live album version is probably the best live version i've heard which was recorded in 4-77.

Well, I have three versions that are really my favorites. The studio version.. the version on the Live cd.. and the Dance version. Each of these versions have different sounds, but they are all really cool in their own way.

STUDIO!! So subtle and pretty, especially with how Stevie's voice is layered in doing background vocals, too. I think a lot of production went into this song that can't be duplicated live- I just have never liked this song live. And some live versions I like less than others, a la Red Rocks: "well did you really ever have that thing baby?" and "players only love you when they're playin' it for ya" just rub me the WRONG way!!

Thumbs up

The Rumours album version. Stevie's vocals are simply incredible, and the chorus harmonies are beautiful.

Unhappy I'm sorry, but...

..that song will NEVER be as magical as the STUDIO version. I have never heard a live version of Dreams that I fell in love with.

Hmmm....it says i have voted on this even tho I don't remember doing so! LOL! I would say the studio version but ... and please don't attack me... I have to say I have gone off this song in recent years. There are so many others I would rather listen to...it isn't one of my faves
