So it all boils down to.....we both like each other, but if I act like I like you too much, you back up, and act like you're not interested....so then I have to play this GAME, that I don't like you, and ignore you, and THEN you chase after me.

I'm not built for this.

Sorry, I needed to rant, and I can't on fb.

The Mystery of Women...

If you figure it out, let me know.

Any women here that would like to explain?

Yeesh. There are times where I think being a gay guy is just a lot easier. But then, there are gay guys who'd probably tell me I've just been really ridiculously lucky to have never encountered any games.

On another note, I just found out that someone I dated quite a while back is now serving jail time for luring and having sex with a 14 year old (he's 31). And the possession of child pornography. 6.5 years. So like... whoa. I have no idea how I feel about that, honestly.

Now I know why I can never find him on Facebook.

Well the only positive to this situation is, that I have been planning a major move in the spring, and I had decided that I was going to postpone that part of my life, as long as this is going well...

And things are still going okay, I guess....I just HATE this whole "I have to act not so interested, for you to act like you're interested".

So yeah, even though my heart is invested in this, my big move is still sitting on the back burner. So if things fall apart, my next chapter is ready to start. That's my only consolation, dealing with the frustration.

The Time change sucks.I think they should keep it year round for lighter evenings and leave it there.

Some states and countries dont bother with the time change.

Since I'm not a morning person it will be dark in the morning.LOL...

Big move... I know you spend lots of time down in Nashville; is that where you're moving to?

Yes, I'm in love with Nashville. It is MUSIC CITY!

But the biggest change for me, will be... that I put my house and all my rental properties, all on 10 year mortgages, 9 years and 9 months ago. Three months to go, and I'll be 100% debt free. With enough cash flow from the rentals, to even stop working, if I wanted to do that(which I don't plan on doing, at least for 5-10 years). I mean, I'd feel guilty retiring in my 40's...

But my plan for the first year, is to rent a place down there, and NOT sell my house, until I've at least put a year of going back and forth, into the decision. I plan on giving up the "cheap nights" that I work, and keeping the well paying ones, and also keep playing with my band. So, almost all of that is weekend work. So I think I'm going to commute to Nashville weekly. Spend Sunday- Wed/Thurs there, and drive back on the weekends, to make some jack! Then lather, rinse, repeat.

(pardon the babble...all this has just hit me in the past month or so, that I'm finishing a major chapter in my life, and that I'm going to be able to reap the rewards...it's surreal, tbh)

But I do plan on postponing the move, at least for the time being, as long as this relationship keeps improving. There was a rough spot last week, but we got through it.

I am trying so, so hard to enjoy these whole wheat crackers. SO HARD!

Jeesh.

Anyone have any experience on effectively tricking their own tastebuds that wants to give me some tips? I'm struggling here.

Why are you eating whole wheat crackers if they taste so awful to you? There are so many other nice things to eat....

I need a vehicle for this spicy red pepper humous and my kitchen is limited, MoonSister.

I can load the cracker up on humous to detract from the cracker, but then the crunch/mush ratio is all off.

Adulthood is so tough, you guys. Seriously.

hmmm... I don't have a problem with crackers myself, so I'm having to try really hard to put myself in your shoes.... Maybe just try to enjoy the crunch - its good to have lots of different textures in your food. I'm probably not being much help am I?

I would if I could, but I'm not too great with computers. It was an achievement for me to get this black cat under my name. If I do manage to work out how to create such things I'll send them along.

I just successfully made pancakes for the 2nd time in my life. I kid you not. They were delicious. All other attempts crumpled when I tried to flip them with the spatula.

On this day, November 10, 1979, I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert for the very first time in New Haven, Connecticut.

OK, well one of you has come through with something new and sent it to me in a private pm. What about the rest of you artists? Bee!!!! How about some fancy new LB banners? You must have a huge cache of them in your hidden files by now. This is one of your creations that I will always treasure.
