I didn't know that Ray worked for Conan. I wonder if that has helped Lindsey get a spot on the show. Heaven knows he hasn't been on Letterman.

We don't know that he didn't.

I'm not saying that she never throws her weight around -- I just tend to think, from all the evidence, that she's not the one who holds all the cards.
I just keep coming back to that scene in the Destiny Rules documentary where Lindsey threatens to abscond with the masters like a petulant child.

yes, I just meant he wasn't on for his last 3 solo albums. But he's been on Conan twice. He hasn't been on Leno either, but my mind doesn't register Leno, unless forced.

Question Rumours producers

just wondering about something... i have no idea how these things work, so i'm hoping maybe someone here knows the answer:

producers listed for the rumours album were:

Ken Caillat
Richard Dashut
Fleetwood Mac

does that mean that any producing royalties (or however is part of the album profit called for producers) of continuing album sales are divided 3-way - and that 5 FM members get one third while Ken and Richard each get a third?

Fleetwood Mac is listed as an entity, 1/3rd

ok. so that would mean that Dashut is getting 1/3, while LB is getting 1/15 of Rumours producing profit?

also Dashut was living in Lindsey's house at the time. so looking at some of the discussion in this thread, the confusing part to me is - wouldn't Dashut be paid directly for his producing job, same as FM?

EDIT: just received the answer from Ken via twitter:

@kencaillat
@ellellew Royalties are more complicated than that. The Label makes a deal with the artist then artist makes a deal with the producer(s)

^I'm sure there are some other Ledgies who work in the business and can explain it in layman's terms better, but this was an interesting read:
