I think on a certain level FM has a hard time "new-comers" into their inner circle. They've largely got the same people working with and around them that have been for years and years and years and years. Maybe it's loyalty to those people, or maybe it's a reluctance to trust anyone else, who knows. But either way, by not letting anyone new in, they're not very good at keeping up with the times. All things considered, FM do very well for themselves - but think of how much better they could do with the right marketing team behind them?

Maybe they should fire the old fan club back up again. I never did get my 2004 calendar.

it sounds like they're really on a great creative roll. Too bad they won't be able to continue on this streak and finish the album. They may not be in the same place creatively after being on the road for months and months.

I don't think people in their 40s are laying around on the floor wondering when the next Fleetwood Mac double album is coming out. They've got houses and kids' colleges to pay for.
