I was looking for block D - logged on today at 9am and still could not get that section. I am glad I purchased the presales tickets yesterday - go block C - near the edge of Block D. Its hit or miss.

Has anyone managed to get anywhere near the first ten rows of the flat seating?... Or been to the o2 since it's been done up... how close is the flat seating?

Its pretty close. It's a great venus and they're pretty ok with letting people right up to the front when its "circle" seating, as they call it..

I pulled 4th row Sunday and 2nd rows Saturday. So relieved!

I got 12th row flat section both nights, nothing better came up in the presale and I could get nothing in the flat section on the general sale ... I don't know whether to be disappointed or not. I got the aisle seat on Stevie's side for the Saturday night, which I'm happy about, but I'm still hoping to get something better closer to the time.
Do you think they'll drop tickets the week of the concerts?

honestly? Think it was a wee bit of luck.
I tried about 8 times at half 9 and then just before 10, the new date was added and I clicked the link, and 4th row came up. At that point, I had nothing and just went for it, considering the presale had been real bad for me!

Then, gave the 24th one more go and couldn't believe my luck yet again when "Flat tier, Row B" appeared. I knew what to do straight away!

*shakes fist in northerly direction*

Just kidding. I'm really delighted that true fans are getting some great tickets, it's how it should be.

I agree entirely!
To be fair to the system, I don't think there have been much scalpers get their hands on tickets for either of the Dublin gigs.
Maybe I've spoken too soon there, but there's nothing on ebay so far, and all us Ledgies seem to be happy with our seats!

I'm confused though ... only one or two people seem to have pulled up seats in the first ten rows. Are they reserved for the Premium Club? Will they be dropped closer to the time?
I've been right up front for a few concerts and this is my first Mac gig, so I really want to be close!

Surely there'll be more tickets released closer to the date.. and cheaper at that I'd imagine.

There seems to be a freeze on ticketmaster at the moment. Keep pulling up the worst seats for both nights. Something like KK row 57. Useless.

I only got one for Sunday though. Really want a good flat seat for Saturday!!!

We queued for 14 hours in the freezing cold and rain only to get block P, not good at all. We wanted the better seats but the guy at ticketmaster said they werent coming up on the system..when I tried the net at home I was *unbelievebly* lucky to get front row for both nights. The only thing I can think of was that they didnt release the best seats straight away..as we got them around 11 oclock. Still in denial!!

NO, I think you're right there. I don't think they've ever done that with an 02 gig though.
Is this the way it was for most Mac gigs on the first leg, somebody from the U.S? Did they release the bad seats first and then release the good ones a few hours after they officially went on sale?
