Default Most annoying fan faction?

I know I'm gonna stir up some s**t with this post, but something's been frustrating me for a very long time. Namely, the way the entire Fleetwood Mac fanbase seems to be fragmented into six or seven warring factions. I try to be open minded, but god, I'm getting annoyed with the crap. I've identifed the eight major "cults" and listed why they annoy me. If you're offended, well, too bad!

Greenies: Relentlessly super high-and-mighty, extreme superiority complex, constantly bashes all other lineups.

Chiffonheads: Extremely defensive, lashes out at everyone who disagrees with themselves, bordering on being a personality cult.

Buckyheads: "Oh, he's the ultimate genius! Everything he does is absolutely amazing, Fleetwood Mac would be lost without him, he produces and arranges everything they do!" ad nausem.

Sugar Daddies: Consistently snooty and uptight, tells everyone to stop being fanboys and girls even when they themselves are.

Peter Who? Pretends that Fleetwood Mac only existed from 1975 to 1987 and 1997 to the present.

Hangars-On: Criticizes every single bowel Fleetwood Mac has performed since 1982, but calls themselves fans anyway.

General fanboy/fangirl: Loves everything Fleetwood Mac has ever done , but won't admit that they've done some bad songs in the past. Usually spastic.

SortaSavageLike: Seems like a pretty average fan, but borderline schizophrenic. What's with the 2,000 word reviews and the boob jokes?

Actually, I don't think I fit into any of those groups. I'm fairly neutral when it comes to FM now.

Heehee. Yeah, I really have no idea. I like them all well enough, but as far as worshiping Stevie, Chris, Lindsey or anyone else... I think I'm pretty much past the extreme adoration stage.

Im probably a cross between a chiffonhead and a peter who? - although I do occasionally acknowledge the existance of 'Behind the Mask'

Exclamation Had to go with...

those dreaded chiffonheads...Their 'devotion' is very akin to those Trekkers of Star Trek fandom.

let the sh*t stirring begin!! actually i think this post is hilarious because it's true. leave it to fleetwood mac to polarize its fan base to such an extent. tho i never comment on it, it drives me absolutely crazy when i witness the extremities so neatly described above.

and as for being snooty and uptight. . .i prefer to think of myself as classy and aloof!

I find it rather less horrifying than the original un-doctored photo. At least the goat's kind of cute.

Do you mean of the forgotten variety?

EDIT: BTW. I love your signature banner. Just like the goat, it reminds me of the way Stevie sings.
