I'd be more frightened by that myself.

I prefer Peter Gabriel's pun on the Stones song, actually.

If "My Heart" is rock 'n roll, my name is Stevie Nicks.

! I LOVE When I See You Again! However, I agree. I think it would have been quite a clunker in the album - like, for instance, Love Changes. UGH.

Now now now....

We all know there are ONLY three Stevie clunkers....Nightmare, Alice, and Desert Angel. The rest are perfection.

Here it is: http://www.geocities.com/Heaven2nigh...cdsstevie.html

So, is this were the Alt-Bombay Sapphires (or 'Sapphire' as listed on the CD ) comes from, and are there more alt-mixes to follow? Why on earth would they print a promotional CD labelled "Final Mixes" when they aren't?

This makes perfect sense now. Thrown Down was worked on for TISL with Lindsey as a guest performer. This would explain the awful back-up singers on the "Wall of Sound" track.

LOVE the "Will Not Trade At This Time" disclaimer. Especially after they post and brag in bold blue lettering about My Heart being super-rare. Remind me not to trade with this person.

I would agree with that except replace the Nightmare with all of Street Angel, sans Blue Denim.

-TISL is one of her best songs. The lyrics are astounding.
-Candlebright is very enjoyable, but can get cloying if listened to too much.
-Love Sorcerer. The Sheryl Crow mix is even better!!!
-Love POTU, but I prefer the extended album version.
-Every Day is boring and bland as hell. Really nothing memorable in it.
-Too Far From Texas can't go far enough away for me to be happy. It's torturous.
-That Made Me Stronger is unlistenable.
-It's Only Love is beautiful.
-Love Changes is very good in spots and very bad in spots.
-I Miss You is pretty. Too repetitive but she sounds great and the music is enjoyable.
-Bombay Sapphires is one of my faves. The new alternate version puts it to shame, though.
-Fall From Grace is great, though a bit too "manufactured" for my tastes.
-Love Is...terrible.

Much of the production is awful and they did something to her voice to make it almost metallic, but a lot of the material is so good that it doesn't matter. Would have liked to have seen Touched By An Angel on there, though.
I agree with you almost 100% - the only diff. is I like TFFT - I think Stevie makes the songs the way she likes them - in fact she is pretty frank about that, esp. regarding Bombay Saph. - in those VH-1 video interviews she said there were a few productions of it and the one on the record is her fav. and she then said something like "and maybe somebody else might like the other productions - but I liked that one," etc.

All in All - I think TISL was stellar though and was so happy to hear it!!!!!!!

You've got that right. It's one thing not to trade something, but it's a completely different thing to not trade something and then brag about it so rudely on your trade page. It's as if they want us to feel that she's better than everyone else because she's elite enough to have such a "rare" item. People like that give trading music a bad name.
