Anyone have Sirius Radio?

I am going to have to purchase a Sirius system of some kind before 1-9-2006 as my beloved (go ahead and laugh if you want

) Howard Stern will be with Sirius starting 1-9-06. Does anyone here have Sirius? What do you think of the service/equipment? Have you had any problems, etc? Any input would be appreciated, as it's not exactly a cheap thing to invest in.

I dont, but I'm seriously thinking about it becasue I heard Major League Baseball is going to be on Sirius now along with the NFL. With this you can get any major league teams radio broadcast on your Sirius radio. I love listening to baseball on the radio, so I might just have to plunk down the cash, we'el see.

I don't have it yet but I definitely think that's where radio is heading just like television did 20 years ago. I know some folks on here have satellite radio. Hopefully they'll see this topic and weigh in.

I know there's an all Elvis station.

I have Sirius. I bought a lifetime subscription I love it so much. Great dance stations, an all gay channel, etc. It is awesome. I've had no trouble with it at all.

through DishNetwork, Like it much better than the obsolete corporate-shrill radio stations.

Only listen to the all Bruce Springsteen "E Street Radio", 80's Hard rock "Hair Nation" & "Hard Attack" Heavy Metal stations....Very recommended if you care to hear music without lameass commerical interruptions.

I don't see why you couldn't. As long as you can get the device you should be able to call and subscribe anywhere. But I'm not 100% sure.

I have Sirius and love it!!!

They actually have a really good Christmas music channel right now. And they play FM on a few of the stations.

A two year subscription to SIRIUS came with my new Jeep that I got in September. I can't imagine ever not having it-- it's totally changed the way I listen to the radio. Such a wide variety of music at your comand...it really is something. Can't wait for Stern in January!
