what's in it for me

So I have Faith Hill's "breathe" album and was reading the lyrics sheet and saw where billy and bekka wrote this song. Is this correct, or did I read it wrong? I know you all probably for sure know this already, but hey-I should be getting props now, right!!??

Oh yes!! They also co-wrote "One", which Faith recorded AND "Better Days".
Suffice it to say, Faith is a BIG fan of Bekka & Billy. Bekka does alot of work with her.

If you can get a copy of her solo cd that she did on her own pretty much for family, friends, and fans.... "What's In It For Me" .... you will hear the songs recorded and performed with the soul that wrote them.
I wish she would put out a follow-up!

Faith is a big Fleetwood Mac fan. She and Tim would do "Go Your Own Way" on their early joint tours.

Ugh. I know her mediocre voice didn't do justice to "Better Days" because I've heard it, but I hate to think what kind of butchery the others were subjected to...

Yes, Ms. V... it's true.
Faith recorded "One" on her "Cry" cd.
"What's in it for Me" is on "Breathe" and "Better Days" is on "Faith".

However, the great news is that they all sold a ton so Bekka benefited from her songwriting and the various backing vocals.
YAY BEKKA!!

I haven't heard Lori Morgan's version of "Used" but I can't imagine it has half the impact of Bekka's version. WOW!!

I haven't heard the other songs, but I did notice she recorded somebody stand by me which stevie also recorded. I didn't realize Faith liked Fleetwood Mac, so that's pretty cool

Hehe I didn't know you weren't a Faith fan Vicky. I personally really like "What's In It For Me." It is cool finding out that Bekka and Billy wrote it.

Faith? Can't stand her. Her voice is less than spectacular and she relies on others to write her songs for her. I am thoroughly unimpressed with her.

"What's In It For Me" is not a Bekka and Billy song, it's actually from Bekka's solo album (also called What's In It For Me) that was released in 2002 but is apparently already out of print. I'll post some MP3s from that disc for you soon. I'll let you know when I get them up.
