Recording?
So, is Christine in L.A.? Any recording? What's the latest?

Just seeing that word, "recording," on this board...it makes my heart beat double time! One thing I hope this trip accomplishes is sparking the desire in her to create again...solo, with the band, with *a* band, doesn't matter to me. Just want to hear more from her.

Me, too. No basis for this, but I'd like to think she's helping the band rehearse for the tour while Stevie is playing her dates.
Just wishing... |

Very well possible. I'm sure Christine still has a good ear for sound and what works and what doesn't in the context of both studio recording and live performing. She could be hanging out and providing her opinions.

I just can't imagine she would tour. Three months of touring in the U.S. with shows mostly every other night, seems like it would be too much after not playing or touring for so long. I think this option is possible for a couple of reasons: 1. It would give the fans (and the show) something new; 2. She would have her "Sweet Revenge" on Lindsey for saying he enjoys playing more of his songs when she doesn't tour. I gather she is back in the UK now. Her manager's response to the adverts in the UK using 'Everywhere' indicated she was here and able to watch them at home.

These are the comments in question:
http://wklondon.typepad.com/welcome_...twood-mac.html Our moonwalking pony ad for Three mobile is now topping the global viral charts. Second Sync, which analyzes Twitter conversations, says that the video generated 14,000 tweets within five hours of its internet premiere on Friday. But even more excitingly, we got a telephone call from Martin Wyatt, manager of Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, the writer and performer of the song 'Everywhere' that soundtracks the ad. He told us that Christine is "absolutely thrilled to bits" that we used ‘Everywhere’ and wanted to congratulate whoever made the decision to use it in the ad. She "absolutely loves" the ad and has been "glued to the TV all weekend" waiting for it to come back on. Our Three team is a bit starstruck and overwhelmed at this news. |
