He could have said "our relationship", or something similar. After commenting positively on collaborating with CM, the implication is that SN is the difficult one. He is a man who chooses his words carefully.

Another example of his passive-aggressive behaviour is in DR, when he says "I own the masters", implying he might take his songs and go home if he doesn't get his way on the double album, without actually threatening to do it.

Stevie is the difficult one. It's just the truth, not an implication.

Some interesting news. I PM'd someone really close to Stevie's project and they were nice enough to answer me back. I won't say who it is as I don't want to give up the author of a PM. Anyway, I relayed to this person all the controversy about Stevie recording a solo album now (with Christine being back) and that many people were angry that she wasn't recording with FM. He/She said that "they don't understand" and "everything will be well" . I took this as there was a reason she was a recording a solo album now, and that everything with FM would turn out fine. Just thought you guys would like to know.

Or it could mean everything will be fine because Stevie's got a new album coming out. Screw FM.

Mostly kidding. That's good, but I'd like something a little more concrete before I let myself become optimistic. The reason people don't understand is because Stevie won't talk about it. She hasn't mentioned a FM album even once this year. And the band members don't exactly have anything very optimistic to say about it either. Regarding Stevie, that is.

She could clear up the misunderstanding very easily and quickly.

I agree I want the song finished and released, but that song title doesn't make me think of Given Thing.
