Be careful of Craigslist. People have been robbed and killed when meeting with someone to conduct a transaction.

Honestly I'm sort of asking less for the FM show since there's still some actual seats left and more because I would love to see the Sleater-Kinney reunion tour and they're at the Rivera theatre the Wednesday after FM in Rosemont but that show is long since sold out and stubhub is selling tickets at at least double. Granted that's still cheaper than FM but if I'm shelling out for Mac I'd rather not for SK. I don't know. The idea of actually meeting up with someone at Starbucks or something and seeing the ticket doesn't seem so bad. But really nice to know about Stubhub. definitely helps to know they stand behind their tickets. That makes me feel way better exploring that route. And hey, maybe I'll see you at the show.
I think the only way I'd trust Craigslist (and this could just be me being paranoid) is if the seller was actually willing to go to the gate with me. I've heard that electronic tickets are better than hard copies since once someone transfers a ticket, it then gets a new barcode and the old one is no longer valid. So someone could legitimately sell someone an electronic version and then sell the original that's now no longer good.

Good luck! Hopefully we both get in!

Hey guys! Been about 10 years since I was active on here, but this last tour has got me back in the fold!

Anyway, with regard to ticket drops--I've had some great luck getting floor seats at the last minute. On Saturday, I got 2 floor seats to Atlantic City at 2:30p (I live in DC and it's about a 3-hour drive to AC) and off we went by 3! Was a great show.

I'm going to the DC show tonight and seeing lots of floor seats pop up again. I got mine on Monday, Row N on Lindsey's side. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm done buying tickets right when they go on sale. Seems like Ticketmaster's MO is to drop these late. Nothing this good popped up right when they went on sale...

It's a little nerve wracking, but I think this is the way I'll do it from now on (until I get burned, of course)

Hi, everyone.....

I'm thinking of buying tickets to the Connecticut show off of StubHub. I've never used them before and I'm wondering if they're legit. Can anyone share experiences before I hit the purchase button.

Thanks so much!

I never had a problem with StubHub. I got tickets for Long Island very last minute, three hours before the show. This time I used TicketSpot, and bought two seats in row 9 of the floor Lindsey's side for $116 each. They were fantastic--I had an amazing time! You can get some really good deals down to the wire.

Stub Hub is generally reliable, but I got burned badly once. Some front row seats they were selling turned out to not actually exist. I got a refund, but i wound up sitting in the back and very, very disappointed.

This is great to hear!!! Hope I luck out, turns out a friend may be hitting the Roemon show with me too, so to the people who fear Im going to killed because of Craigslist (personally I think some people make bad choices and are lacking basic street smarts... And I'm unlikely to be killed at say a Starbucks anyway...) I think I'll find a way. Lol.

Think I mentioned earlier in the thread, I went last minute actually on both concerts I've been to (in 2013 I got accessible seats, health issues are part of why I've learned to wait but wow there's not been any accessible seats available with this tour) and first time we did great, second time, to the2014 Detroit show it probably didn't help that we were looking for three seats (in general for concerts and Broadway shows and such buying a single ticket last minute you can score awesome seats most of the time!) but nothing dropped. Same three seats on the side were the best available for days. Though I think we bought them in the morning of the show, maybe we should've waited a few hours!

I just really, really would like to get a decent seat on the Christine and John side. Both tours I've been to the far right and never have gotten a good photo of John and mostly couldn't see Christine this tour. Seems even now there's more available seats on the Lindsey side and even on Stubhub prices are higher on the Christine side, don't know if that's intentional or not. If I've got someone with me and feeling up for it, the floor is my dream but I'm going to have to sit for at least some of it, but since I already saw Detroit, Rosemont would be a good time to go for it. Less of a big deal to me to if I have to sit and can't see. But I'm also only 4'11" so...

Anyone know how high the stage has been at most shows? I think I'm too darn short to get the best experience even if I got right up against the stage. But it's a dream...

Anyone realize how much farther back Stevie is than Lindsey from the front of the stage? I know, it's probably common knowledge, but I didn't know that the three aren't all up front. It's kind of like a diagonal line going from Lindsey to Christine, rather than parallel to the edge of the stage.

They move around though, some, like Christine did several songs at the front and Stevie moves back and forth a ton. Makes some sense with the piano for Chris. That and Lindsey is the only one who really plays right to the people at the edge of the stage.

No idea how it was in 97 or before. In 2013 Stevie was the other side of the stages and played up front.

Because of where I sat during this tour, on the Lindsey side, far over on the side, I didn't notice how diagagonal it was, if anything I got the best photos of Stevie because she movies back and turn around to Mick a lot (I basically had a back view) but makes sense why more seats are gone on the other side of the stage then, they see everyone on that side, you don't on Lindsey's side.

I got fifth row, dead center the day of the Providence show for $200. I think the low price was due to the 2ft of snow that came down the day before, but what an unbelievable deal.

I was lucky to get first row at Stevie's show by calling the casino box office the first day on sale .I almost died when the tix agent said "I have a single front row tix here for you".

Another time I got forth row at Stevie's show about a week before the show.

Now I surprised the rest of this tour is not sold out.

I just check my local venue for next Saturdays FM performance at Mohegan Sun here in Connecticut and they only have a few left which I just checked and they have some inflated nose bleed seats for plus $ 200 bucks.

Eeeek don't buy off Ticket Master. Such a ripoff because they monopolize the ticket industry. Check StubHub or TicketSpot the day of and you can really make out. I was on the floor for $116, and Ticket Master was selling lower deck for $230 each + extra fees.

Anyone looking for decent Cleveland seats, a bunch of side stage seats in section 111 just popped up. This section appeared sold out for the last two weeks or so, but tonight I checked and there are about two rows of seats between rows 14 & 15 (section starts with row I believe). Never sat directly at the side of the stage, super excited!
