Thank you !I love Music--I love LIVE music I am truly saddened by what's happening to this group right now. I hope beyond all that I (we ) have the opportunity to see the Rumours 5 again. I won't be seeing this iteration of FM, not because I don't respect what they've done as a band historically (or the new group separately), but because it actually has the feel of "throwing spaghetti at the wall and let see what sticks" I have HUGE respect for Mike Campbell. Had the privilege of seeing one of the last shows on the TPH tour last summer (if we only knew). He's truly an amazing musician. I've never really followed CH, but have checked it out on line, and honestly, while Neil is a great artist and musician--I don't see how he can do what Lindsey did--and let's take a step back and admit, they are asking him to fill Lindsey's shoes in some way. I don't think he can, and if this is the last time I Can see FM live--I don't want to be left with that memory as my last FM concert. I saw OWTS at MSG and Prudential Center--I will have that as my memory of the farewell tour should they not get their isht together while they are all on this side of the dirt.

I can't imagine it having the same energy. And wouldn't it be like a slap in the face to Lindsey?! "You can go your own way, you can call it another lonely day". But I'm sure they will do it, with Neil on lead vocal? Ewwwwww

I think it's too late, and I would hope that Lindsey wouldn't go back.

I mean, SOMEBODY has to have some credibility in this scenario!

And that's the saddest part of all. Because for as much as I want to see them all together again, I also think Lindsey needs to tell Mick and Stevie to stick it!

Hey, I was at that show! I actually talked with Bekka before the show. She was going to ride that bungee cord-like ride they had. “Dreaming The Dream” blew my mind, especially with the fireworks in the background.

I enjoyed all three bands at the Indy show. The worst part was the audience members bitching(we had lawn seats, so we could hear everything around us), that "it isn't FM without Stevie". But Bekka blew me away, with Dreaming The Dream.

Technically speaking, the best singer, hands down, that FM ever had. And she's still got amazing pipes!

A total slap in the face to Lindsey.
And I can bet Stevie will request that Neil removes the shakin up line just to spite him and stick the dagger in further

She didn’t do that when Billy was in the band. In fact, she started doing a harmony on that specific line very early in the 1987 tour and it’s been part of the song ever since.

I really disagree here Homer, Lindsey belongs in the Mac. Neil does not. Sorry, I have no ax to grind against the new members, if someone offered me the gig I'd totally take it....but it's wrong IMO to be so unforgiving as to permanently bar any possible reunion. It would completely be soap opera to the nth sickening degree, but it's never been pretty in the inner workings of this band.
I love them too much to see them go out like this...

I AGREE with you, 100%. BUT,....would YOU be treated like this at a job, and go back? I mean, if you were poor, and had a family to support, you might have to. But if you were set for life, and publicly humiliated from this firing, would you REALLY go back, and have to pretend that everything is okay? I wouldn't!

GTS says that he's worth 45-80 million(I find that to be very low, compared to his contemporaries), so if he's the man I think he is, he's Never Going Back Again.

I would say chance of a reunion is <1% and the damage to the legacy is permanent. FM now reflects our own hopelessly fractured world.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Lindsey basically came from money so I doubt that's ever been the issue. After being treated so shabbily I too would probably never go back, but then again, given the artistic imprint left on pop music culture because of my work, I might look beyond the petty individual personalities to see the larger game.

I'm afraid of heights, so there was NO WAY I was going up there. It was fun watching everyone else do it. It was going on all day, so it just added to the entertainment factor of being at a concert within an amusement park. Hats off to Bekka if she did it.

Yes, THAT particular song stands out in my mind. She did indeed nail it and the atmosphere only added to it. It was beautiful!

Sorry I missed you! So what else did Bekka have to say?
