Stevie talks about her early days in Fleetwood Mac, but she also tells some new stories as well. For example, she talks a little about the situation with Lindsay, starting and ending cocaine, the Tango in the Night album, her writing process, and her love for The 1975. I found the whole interview to be really interesting and enlightening. I love just hearing Stevie talk. I did wish at times that Matty Healy had circled back to certain questions after the interview became more conversational but I was surprised at how open and candid Stevie was.

I wish we could have gotten more out of her about what happened with her and Lindsey.

But overall, it's a pretty good interview.

So basically she says they separated paths. Like it was so amicable.

And that the music kept them together and now that they aren't recording anymore, there is no more magic? So no reason to stay together?

That's kind of what I got from her as her side of the split.

She said Lindsey's Tango songs were her favorites. Big Love was wonderful and that FM didn't get to do the album version on stage b/c Lindsey didn't want to.
Why didn't Neil Finn sing Big Love, Family Man, or Caroline instead of MM, SHN, or GYOW then?

Nice interview. I've never been a fan of The 1975- he's always come across as being a bit up himself. However, he came across as a really nice bloke in that interview. Might need to revisit them.
Likes to talk a lot though...are you interviewing yourself or Stevie?

I kind of vegged out listening to this interview. I enjoyed its length and serendipitous tripping around. It got me thinking about the personality and style differences between Stevie and Christine. Stevie has always been willing (and wanted) to divulge so much about herself, while Chris always maintains that reserve, that very British reticence. But these two styles complemented each other in Fleetwood Mac. It was always so enjoyable hearing Stevie and Chris talk to the rock press in their very different ways. It seems to me a prime example of how the differences in the band jelled. It’s the band’s classic variety and even the Green configurations had that.

I think my favorite part of that whole interview is Stevie talking at length about Tango in the Night. It helps that I agree with her opinions on that album 100 percent. Every song she lists as a Highlight I agree with, which is about 8 of the 12 songs on the album. Specifically like that she seems to genuinely really love Family Man and Caroline since she mentions them 2-3 times enthusiastically. And rightfully states that Lindsey has the best songs.

She also says without saying it, that she was completely useless to that album.
Or at least the closest to saying something overly critical about her own music as far as I can remember. She literally lists every song as being great except the 2 she wrote and mystified. And it’s possible she glossed over mystified, but Stevie never just glosses over a chance to talk about a song she wrote.

And Now that I’m thinking about it, I can’t recall one time Stevie’s ever even said the title of those 2 songs.

She often admits to not liking much of Street Angel, but has never really spoken to providing 2 of the worst songs to such a great album. And the kicker is she had so much better to offer.

I enjoyed the interview. It was a bit much on the interviewer's end; however, I didn't mind it. In these times we get a little more lovey and emotional.

You had both parties stroking her ego for a good hour plus. That opened her up.
