lazy to secrh for BuckVie threads now so -

Top 50 Rock Songs of the '10s
Ultimate Classic Rock

30. Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie, "In My World" (From Lindsey Buckingham Christne McVie, 2017)

It's no surprise that the first album to feature both Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie since 1987 sounded a lot like Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night. What was remarkable was how quickly Buckingham clicked with McVie – even though they didn't share the kind of history he had with the missing Stevie Nicks.

Really cool and well deserved.
The album should have been nominated for a Grammy and won.
Now that would have really sent Stevie over the edge

That’s for sure.....The thing that sucks if it was titled “Fleetwood Mac” it just well might have won a Grammy.

I was initially luke-warm about this song when it was first released but I've come round to it much more over time. It's not the best song on the album though but I appreciate why they've gone for this one as it was the lead-out single.

I love this song! When it comes on I crank it.

It's a nice album in a time that we really needed some Fleetwood Mac w/ newly written songs. Watching those two on tour was fresh and a lot of fun.

The best FM album since Mirage! I love it!

god, can you imagine if it had won a Grammy without $tevie? $he would've gone all Hillary on him. They might have not even found his body...

Yes and Yes. It was a great tour. It’s a shame we won’t see a follow up album.

Never thought of this but of course that was part of Stevie’s master plan. This is the first time I thought she was actually evil.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

It was 2 steps:
First not wanting to participate in a new Mac album.....the band carried on and recorded anyway. You know she was pissed so they called it Buckingham/McVie to try and calm her. That did not work so she went with the kill...….the ultimate ultimatum - tour with me or him.
Mick chose $tevie

I am so happy to hear this. But I think "Carnival Begin" should be on the list, too. I get shivers when that one comes on.

i'm ok with having just LB solo albums or some BuckVie also sprinkled in. for Christine's sake, i hope they somehow do one more long-distance album, the 2 of them. if was a fun album and even more fun tour.

I really don't hear that at all. BUCKINGHAM MCVIE is pleasant. Decent songs. Nothing really gelled with me as being that high calibre with the possible exception of "Red Sun" which I thought was pretty catchy.
