Farmer's Daughter, seriously? It's a wonderful exercise in minimalist production, and those harmonies are among some of the most beautiful they've ever put on record. How is Fleetwood Mac covering a Brian Wilson penned tune, one of Lindsey's biggest inspirations, not credible? Not saying Stevie singing her cover w FM isn't credible, just fail to see how it is more-so/less embarrassing than Farmer's Daughter, as you put it. After all, a band covering a tune by an older group that was a huge inspiration on their own writing is a lot more standard than covering a tune from a contemporary/friend.
