I didn't hear it. I thought she was signing autographs with her left hand. Okay, I'll watch Japan Rumours and report back. I'm right handed...pfft.

Now that I think about it- when she was asking that guy how he spelled his name, I think she was writing w/ her left hand. How perceptive of you...anyway let us know after you watch the tape. Now I'm curious. Lefthanders unite!

She was definitely signing that album left handed. I took note of that right away the first time I watched the tape. Christine McVie is a southpaw.

BTW is that your album w/ the signature? Did you see her sign that or did you buy that?

Lis, did you actually get close enough to her to get her to sign that songbook? Beautiful pictures, by the way.

I thought I was right.

"C'mon, don't be a John McVie."
"I'm not a John McVie. I used to be."

No, that book was printed up that way, it's not a real signature!

I never got close enough to get her autograph! I was close enough at Great Adventure to make eye contact and get a wave. And in 1997 backstage, when we met John, we got a quick glimpse of her down the hall before the show.

Macfan, pretty cool that you noticed the left handed thing right away. It's weird because in my head now i can clearly see her writing w/ her left hand, yet it never 'clicked'. For me that's peculiar, I'm usually un-healthily obsessive about minor details!

I wrote her a letter after her solo tour and sent a little note with the pic. So I actually didn't get to meet her. Although I sat near her piano during the show in the small club she played at, I got a smile.

I melted.

Why did I have to be born in 1986? WHY! Where did you see her? And all the other million questions that ensue...

Along those lines- on the Tusk photoshoot tape-- John was really bored and being very silly w/ Stevie, kissing her neck etc until they end up clutching passionately at each other and acting totally nutso. Chris sees him all over her and laughs and says, "John, it used to be me you did that to!"

At which point John Courage would've been on you like white on rice, my friend. He circled about like a nasty vulture. Not the most endearing of people. Mind you, we are the most ordinary, boring, harmless looking people, but I felt like if I made a wrong move, we were history. I guess he is just very protective of them. At one point he came over to John while he was talking to us and whispered in his ear--like it was something extremely top secret: "Ten more minutes." Like it would take John lots of time to change his shirt for the show, and we were keeping him from his preparatory duties. To be honest John Courage was the reason we didn't ask John if we could have a picture w/ him. I was scared JC would throw our arses right the heck out!!

So many say that to me. I hate to admit, but I had no idea of Fleetwood Mac back in 1997/1998.
