too much Abba hatred going on here, that I will never understand

Abba are, quite frankly, the greatest pop group ever. Looked great, sounded great, wrote their own music which were all pure, catchy, well crafted pop songs and always performed live on tour. Whats not to love?

I agree on Creed and Nickelback.

I'm tired seeing 2 dozen of Nickelback CD's in Stevie's CD section at Walmart under her name tag.

No room for fashion concerns in my life

Ok, so some of the costumes were a bit ridiculous, even in the 70's, but the girls had HUGE amounts of sex appeal and, weather you like their outfits or not, were always well presented and well dressed on stage.

My mom loves them too much, and that turned me off. I had Dancing Queen stuck in my head for a month because of her.

I actually saw them perform live on a brief North American tour in 1979.The girls can really sing. There has been a huge critical reversal in fortune for Abba over the last twenty years or so .Many who once derided them now understand just how good and consistent they actually were.

Skip is a great guy. Face it, he's an old white guy who is stuck in his musical past. He has no interest in hearing new music. I giggle to myself wondering what 2 seconds of a new song he allowed himself to listen to so he could determine that all new music stinks.

I wanted to list Robert Pollard just to rile you up but I've never actually heard the man sing. Nor do I care to.

Katy Perry annoys me and Nikki Minaj needs to go away and NEVER come back.
