he's been touring. i've seen him about a year or so ago when he was doing one of his acoustic theater tours. right about now he's doing arena size tours of the US and Canada, i'm sure he'll be somewhere close to you.

he has people taking any of his live recordings off youtube, maybe that's why you were not aware he's been actively touring.
