Default A Fleetwood Mac Museum?

I want to make sure I am not the only crazy one here...

Has anyone ever thought about turning a room in their house into a Fleetwood Mac themed room? Almost like a museum?

Or better yet, has anyone actually done this?

Some of the fans on VH1s Fan Club episode about Stevie's fans have done Stevie rooms.

Really? I wish they would air some of these old episodes. Fleetwood Mac's behind the music hasn't even been on in years. It is sad. Does anyone have a copy of the fan club episode on tape? I would pay for it!

I have a little bit of Mac scattered all over the house (the Stevie hologram in my foyer, Stevie and Mac lightswitch plate covers, etc.). I DO have one room in my house that I am in the process of organizing. It's my office/workout room, but it also houses most of my collection (not including CD's, albums and videos - those are all in the living room). However, it's a cluttered mess of piles of magazines, photos and boxes!

I just (finally!!!) won an auction on Ebay for a used, commercial poster display rack. And I recently purchased three sets of shelves from Target. I'm on a mission!

I envy you! I have not even begun to collect Stevie and Mac stuff yet, but do you think that I would seem to crazy if I turned my bedroom into a Mac themed room? I don't want people to think I am obsessed with FM, but what is the fun in just keeping all my Mac stuff in a box?

I stopped caring about whether people thought I was obsessed looong ago....

And yes, I used to have a small apartment, and had one wall where I put all of my STevie/Mac posters, I also had my drumset against that wall..inspiration I guess...

My future plans include an FM room, now that I have a tambourine (awaiting ribbons) and a top hat, I'm going to make a lovely display in there, to compliment my posters/pics and I'd also like to hang all of my albums...

You are right! Who cares what people think! I'm borderline obsessed with Fleetwood Mac and proud of it!

I have thought about having my own Stevie/FM museum and if I would have done it in the room that I had in mind a while back it would have been fine. Now, I either have to build an addition or buy a larger house as I have 'out-collected' my room space. I do like the idea of a poster rack and store shelving. I may have to reconsider how to display everything.

I sold my extra on Ebay (including the album it came in) for $50 a few months ago...I'll let you know if I see another one, they still pop up occasionally.

I recently took down my Stevie shrine all over the walls of my bedroom...

Stevie / Mac stuff is throughout my house but not in one particular place. I like a lot of different music so overall my house has a lot of memorabelia.

I have Stevie's Rhiannon print signed and framed on my living room wall.

Also have Stevie's 1980 HBO poster on my living room wall. Love the way she looks... so wistful.

In my bedroom I have Stevie's AH-I benefit from 98 a handbill designed by Bob Masse that I had Stevie sign when I met her in 2000 framed.

I have a memory board in there too upon which are photos from FM's Staples show that I took.

I have several photo albums full and a large spot on my bookshelf where a lot of my Herb Worthington prints and FM LP's, also tourbooks are kept.

If you have a lot of posters, may I suggest going to your local art store and buying a large acid free pad, you can slip the posters and keep them flat between the sheets. Also they sell portfolios that you can use with acid free corners to display your posters in.
