Why don't at least 5000 of these "fans" come see 2 out of the 3 singers in the Mac in such an intimate setting?
because seeing legendary Fleetwood Mac is very different than seeing 2 names who they may not even know are in FM, or that they are touring. FM tour was well advertised, with the band being on hugely watched tv show announcing every time their tix were going on sale. not so with this tour.

I'm still hopeful they will add a few uk dates, especially seeing the album did really quite well here compared to in the states, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It did sell pretty well. And there are dinner tickets still avail. 3rd row, I think.
It's Nor Cal but not Bay Area. But now you are making me think about it.

If you don't know Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham are members of Fleetwood Mac then you are really not a fan. Perhaps a casual fan with a little interest in some hit songs. These 2 members are going to perform many Mac classic hits. A die hard fan would definitely be at the concert.

Exactly! If you don't know them you're just a Stevie fan.

Which is ok, but then don't label yourself as a FM fan.

And if that's the case, please stay in the Stevie forum!

The sad thing is the Buckingham McVie album will quickly drop out of the US charts (probably), irrespective of the tour. However, if they did a handful of UK dates it would probably be enough to keep the album doing well in the UK charts.

I don't know why they couldn't extend their tour to UK. Unless they have a tight schedule with Lindsey's solo album, it could've been a great opportunity.

I know! Even Buckingham Nicks did that last Alabama show after joining FM.

I don't think that's what our fellow Ledgie was saying, tho I am sure she's capable of explaining...

I think she is saying the whole world (well over middle age) know who Fleetwood Mac are.....but maybe there are folk out there..not us guys obviously..that do not know the names of the band members.
She isn't talking about die hard fans...
