Fleetwood Mac- Sugar Daddy

Rumours- Don't Stop

Tusk- I love this album in its entirety.

Fleetwood Mac Live- Not That Funny (it's way too long live), One More Night

Mirage- Empire State, Oh Diane, Wish You Were Here

Tango In The Night- Big Love (I don't like the album version!), Caroline, Mystified, Family Man

Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits- I rarely listen to this one, but when I do... it's all the way through.

Behind The Mask- Eh. Gotta be in the right mood to listen to this album.

Say You Will- Murrow, Illume, Miranda, Red Rover, Come, Silver Girl, Everybody Finds Out

I try not to skip songs. Skipping not only prevents me from appreciatiing a song I'd previously overlooked (which was the case with most of TISL), but it also tends to make me burn out on the songs I initially liked, if I spend too much time listening to them to the exclusion of others. So, I avoid doing it.

But once or twice, I have skipped Silver Girl and Running Through the Garden, against my better judgment.

I agree! It is such a great collaboration with Stevie and Lindsey.

I agree with those Rumours and Tusk skip overs. I love My Little Demon though! To me that song's more funny than anything. Shortly after the Dance came out we held a bonfire and they played that song while everyone danced around the fire in a circle like little Indians. I laugh to this day.

I just can't believe that no one heard this in the playback and felt the need to either re-record it or sweeten it in some way. You can totally hear some kind of a gloppy noise coming out of her nasal passages. I guess it's the hole she burnt into her septum.

I concluded years ago that the decision to keep it was deliberate. The production decision to retain it is making some sort of artistic statement -- I know not what.

There are other instances on that album where the Nicks vocal is unpleasantly nasal & EQ'd toward the treble & mid ranges with virtually no bass. Keeping these grotesque vocals was surely intentional.

It's as if our faces were being rubbed in the gritty realism of a deteriorating voice box.

Stevie has the worst case of vocal fold nodules. That is the main reason she sounds the way she does. I guess she is too scared to have them removed. The hole in her nose doesn't help either. Many singers suffer from nodules, but some are effected more than others. Look at Marianne Faithfull for example.

I prefer to just let the album play straight through. Granted, some songs are not favorites, but when I listen to the album I like to experience the songs as a whole group, rather then to skip one. I get a better feel for the concept of the record that way.

I'm surprised people skip so many songs. The only songs I "skip" (they are not even on my playlist) are all of Bekka and Billy's time songs (I only like Christine's songs and Daves) and I only listen to a select few songs from the Live album, mostly the one of a kind ones (like Fireflies) because I just listen to a Tusk tour boot in place of that album.

So besides Live and Time, I listen to all the other mac albums all the way through.

When I See You Again is exactly the song where I reach over and crank up the volume. I want people to ask me when Elmer Fudd joined Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac: I'm So Afraid
Rumours: um, all of it? Except for The Chain, I Don't Want To Know, Silver Springs and Gold Dust Woman.
Tusk: Over and Over, Never Forget
Live: Rhiannon, One More Night, blah blah. I don't even remember
Mirage: everything except for Gypsy, That's Alright Love In Store, and Book of Love
Tango: Caroline
Mask: Everything but Christine's songs
The Dance: quoth Patti Smith: I don't need that ****in' ****
Say You Will: RUNNING THROUGH THE GARDEN OH MY GOD. And I make sure to turn off SYW before the kids. Smile At You, Silver Girl.
