Then they need to fire her ass. Seriously, I get that people might now know the actual band members' names (though, Stevie Nicks, come on, that's a household name), but I do wonder what rock you have been living under if you've never heard of Fleetwood Mac. Especially when you work at a record store.

For me the most annoying thing is that when I tell someone I am into Fleetwood Mac, they respond with: Those hippies?! I have a friend who just looooves to keep calling them that whenever he is around me.

more annoying then all of that is when people refer to Christine McVie as
"Christy". I've heard DJ's do it and I always picture Chris wincing.

The only thing that annoys me is when people intentionally misspell words. Like "dremah" or "survivah" or **** like that all the time. It drives me nucking futs. Truly. These people obviously have a moderate amount of smarts if they're able to use a computer and sign up for a message board, you'd think that they could spell properly.

I completely agree. It's all a bit ... confused.

The misspellings annoy me sometimes. *sigh* It's so tough being a teenage female fan at school. That's the worst.

Me: "My God, Lindsey Buckingham is so sexy."
Other student: "You're a lesbian then?"

Me: "My God, Stevie Nicks is so cool."
Other student: "Ooh, who's this Stevie guy? Do you _like_ him?"
Me: "Stevie's a _girl_."
Other student: "You're a lesbian then?"

Gggrr!!

Now, if everyone had sigs like that there would be no need for me to have them turned off. That is super cool Joe.

...when people presume that every single song that Stevie and Lindsey write are about each other. Granted, Stevie has found a great deal of inspiration in her prior relationship with Lindsey. Still, her lyrics are so oblique...and such a mish mash of references...even she has (re-)interpreted her songs differently over the years. I'd think that she's had other dramas and life-enriching experiences (without Lindsey) that she draws upon.

Don't I know it. I could tell a few stories about what friends of mine over the years have said to me about Fleetwood Mac

Oh, back when I was in high school., I'd drive into the parking lot playing Fleetwood Mac, and my friends would all say they're old man, get with it. I never wavered in my support though. I just knew somehow that my band would still be around while whoever the hell they were listening to at the time would fade away.......
