Still not an updated Performance?

With all the publicity around the new tour and potential new material....the interview with Carson Daly and other interviews...I really am wondering why a televised performance of 1-3 live songs from a newly reformed Mac has not yet been at the least already performed, but perhaps at least "out there in the near future"? What gives? Their new performances don't have to be perfect...I'm a little bit suspect that they are wanting to tour and what not as the reformed 5, but yet no live performance since "Don't Stop" in September. I guess the music industry is different now days and in their older age....much more preparation needed! Don't they want to show off a bit before they tour again?

I'm sure they'll be doing just that in the near future. Remember The tour isn't until October

There is a lot of time between now and when the tour begins at the end of September. Maybe they'll go on the Today Show concert series this summer and play a few songs for promotion? I just hope there is time put into these concerts and fans/attendees get their money's worth with these prices (significantly higher than just a year ago)---with a strong, lengthy setlist of ~25-26 songs and with some inspired song choices and arrangements we haven't heard. Acoustic Gypsy anyone? I was just reminded of that one today and loved that take on the song. You know, a combination of things that would keep this tour fresh and make it a meaningful experience. Who knows, maybe the band will debut something this summer and create even more buzz?

When was the last time Fleetwood Mac had a TV performance? Back when SYW came out? Maybe that's just not something they like doing. And I'm sure they won't begin rehearsing for several months yet. There won't be any performances of any kind I'm sure until then.

In case anyone's forgotten, they will be performing a few songs on the Today Show on October 9th.

They (FM) will be on the "Today Show"??? Stevie will be performing on the Tonight Show 4/9/14...

Yes, it was confirmed during the Today Show interview (watch till the end and you'll see) that they will be doing a concert outside the studio on October 9th, shortly after the tour begins.
