Analyzing album covers: Live in Boston
It's a good collage, not big deal to me. I do like the blue color. But I don't know why they included a sunset, cause it makes me recall the sun over Pacific Ocean.. California. But hello.. you said is Live in BOSTON .
A good cover anyway. Fine. Who looks best? Lindsey and John, IMHO. Of course, and it's more than obvious, but I want to mention anyway.. I miss Christine there.

I would like this cover so much better if they were all the same proportion - but it always looks like a giant Stevie looming over the guys. Weird!

And what? They just threw in a setting sun for kicks?
They used this picture to promote the tour. I remember taking this full page FM ad out of my newspaper (back when I still got a paper newspaper) and saving it, but I wasn't happy about the photo. Michele |

I like it, it seems fitting and realistic (albeit the giant Stevie) just glimpses of the band in action...makes sense.
Yeah, I can see why the dispreportioning of members would irratate some, and the rising/setting sun. Never really noticed/thought about sun until now. |

I like the giant Stevie...but not the full cover!

It isn't a setting sun, it's a light that was half lit above the speaker behind John. It's clear if you watch shots of John on the DVD.

It's pretty poorly pieced together if you ask me, it is a live album though so i'll cut 'em some slack.

Not a fan of this album cover. I never liked the giant "Cousin It" Stevie.

True...
Hell, I have seen bootlegs that are better packaged than an official release..."Live in Boston" looks like a Jr.High art student pieced it together.
