It can get a bit excessive, but it is hard to find an appropriate screenname. Otherwise we end up with David, David A., David B., David C., etc., etc.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but that's why I went with "Johnny Stew." I started out as the only regularly posting "Brian" on the original Ledge, and then suddenly there were about five of us, and people were having trouble knowing who was who, even with the addition of last initials... so instead of seeming interchangeable, I picked what I did.
