I think the origin of my user name is fairly self-explanatory.

Also, I think the line, "I am a cliffdweller from the old school" is just hilarious. Plus, I LOOOOOOOVE Illume, it's the best Stevie offering on the new album in my opinion.

No your not, but I was wondering how the name was SW related, haven't read that series of books in the SW universe though. Sadly the NJO series is done though

My favorite song is Sara. I named my daughter Sara, and she was born in 1998.

Pretty simple....

Thumbs up This is VILLAVIC

Cool thread. And I swar I didn't read this before I posted my boy/girls thread.

Well, VILLAVIC comes from my ral lastname: VILLAVICENCIO (very spanish, isn't it?)

I comes from the DOS days where you had the 8.3 -characters limitation naming a file. Example AUTOEXEC.BAT 8 and 3 characters.

I worked on those days with mainframe computers (late 80s). I was a young new engineer, and mainframes also had an 8-characters limit.

So I always named my jobs "VILLAVIC", because I couldn't put VILLAVICENCIO

Later my boss started to call me Villavic, so everybody did.

He wasn't me favorite boss, he was the first boos I had, but actually we never became friends. So I remember him every time somebody asks about the "villavic" thing. But I don't care.

It's like Tina Turner, she kept the TURNER lastname, no matter how Ike made her suffer.

Isn't that weird?????

Yeah, it just came to me one night when I was going thru the usual names (taken, taken, taken...)

I was going to call my site Skcin Cam (obviously, the Cam being Mac backwards) but then I realized it sounds REALLY porny, so I decided to do a song name backwards instead. Angel seemed to work the best.

How about DarkLinenPanties? That actually sounds like a video title.

As far as my name goes, I'm sure it's pretty obvious:
"Every hour of fear I spend, my body tries to cry
Living through each empty night
A deadly call inside"

I was just looking for an interesting snippet from one of the most beautiful and amazing songs ever written, and that is what I decided on.

I'm in LOVE with your username. A great one! Such a classic, creative Stevie line that makes me smile every time...one of my all-time faves of her lyrical self-descriptions.
