Michelle Kwan is great, I like Evgeni Plushenko (even when he is too perfect), but my favorite category is dance, so I follow more closely that competition. Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov are very good, also because they're trained by Alexander Zhulin who's been an amazing skater in couple with her former wife Maya Usova.

My all time favourite has been Marina Klimova and Sergey Ponomarenko. They gave me an incredible emotion, when they won the gold medal in Albertville defeating Paul and Isabelle Duchesnay with that incredible duet on Bach's Air from Suite No.3/Toccata and Fuge in D-minor.

I remember a beautiful performance on Carmen by her. She jumped like few others, if she hadn't been so emotional she could have won much more, IMO.

Hi John (fellow Masshole). My grandfather did quite a bit of traveling and Tahiti was his favorite place. He says this is mostly because the islanders are not poor and they are happy. I'd like to get there too some day as well as just about everywhere else.

ha, i think if she had been more "classical" and less "athletic" and "black" that she would've won more. To me, she was way better than they ever scored her Her routines were way more interesting than lots of the prissy girls. But...oh, by the way, i don't really like the couples skate very much...
