Default A "new" Christine song in The Dance

I was listening Christine’s songs from Time album, which as I said in the Post Rumours forum, I usually do, skipping the other songs. And I thought... What if she hadn't included one of those songs in this album? And she had featured it on The Dance. Which song would you choose?

I always thought that Hollywood would have been a great song with Lindsey and Stevie on harmonies and background vocals.

I’ve always loved “Hollywood,” but “Sooner or Later” would have fit in with the dance pretty well.

I think the weakest song of hers on “Time” was “I Do” ….the single…

I agree. Songbird wasn't on the CD but made the DVD. All over again might well have worked as a closer to the album, ridding the painful and downright execrable Temporary One from the set. I don't see any of her other Time songs working in the context of the Dance. The line "I'd do it all over again" would have been really sweet.

But at the risk of being a complete bore, Why could have closed it. It might have brought the song back to the public's attention, the same as for Silver Springs, with those wonderful Stevie & Lindsey harmonies.

I suppose the played it all a bit too safe.

I'd choose Hollywood but with some lyrics changed. Since The Dance venue was in WB studios Burbank, it would not have been appropriate for her to sing about being tired of the bright lights of the city and moving to another kind of town.

But I love the rhythm of the song and it would have fit for that happy night.

Considering that she did exactly feel that way and did move to another kind of town after the tour, it would have been a very British thing to have included it! It was a much better song than Temporary One which has the air of still being written while she was singing it.
