I've always wondered about this...
Somebody mentioned that it maybe mean "Sick day" , as in being ill and not having to go to work. Something about "slabo" being Jewish, Polish (or something...) for "sick", but that the spelling did differ a little bit. But I've no idea if there's any truth in it.
Anyway, the intro could very well run through my feverish head while having the flu!

I think it's a wonderful tune!

Somebody should ask Peter what it means, if he ever gives an interview again.

Yes it is a wonderful piece of music.

Maybe our friend kowk will know if slabo means "sick" in polish?

I get associations to "lazy" listening to it. "Lazy day" seems to fit the tempo...

Default słabo - Polish word :-)

Polish words:
- słabo (adv) means weakly, faintly, poorly.
- słaby (adj) means weak, faint, poor.
So if we consider a Polish-English set of words "slabo day" for me better would be a set "slaby day" = "poor day".
Of course these deliberations make sense if a word "slabo" is of Polish origin :-)
Greetings from Poland.
Krzysztof

Thank You Krzysztof! Great that you saw this thread. Nobody else here knows polish, I think.

What you write makes sense. A part of PG's origins are polish so he might have heard bits and pieces. Then on the other hand we will never know this....

Great piece of music no matter what the meaning is

Greetings from Denmark

Ms Moose

I totally agree with You Ms Moose.
BTW - it would be a small Polish language contribution to Greeny's music
I like this idea
