Sounds like a rumour to me...
Lindsey Buckingham: Another Fleetwood Mac album appears inevitable, but meanwhile that band's de facto creative director has had a second life as an idiosyncratic and adventurous solo artist, 8 p.m. Sunday-Monday at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., $80; citywinery.com.

[Hey I resent this comment, referring to Don't Stop playing as Bill Clinton took the stage at the DNC]
Excerpt from the New Yorker: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blog...rats-roll.html It’s no secret that the Democrats have an easier time attracting big-name music acts to their events than the Republicans do. North Carolina native son James Taylor already rallied the troops in Charlotte, and the Foo Fighters and Mary J. Blige, among others, are scheduled to be joining in. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the Democrats have better musical taste. (The less said of the Clintonian penchant for Kenny G. and mid-period Fleetwood Mac the better.) |

^^ I have to admit that I felt a tingle in my spine when I saw Bill Clinton taking the stage with "Don't Stop" playing in the background. It's always thrilling to hear Fleetwood Mac being played anywhere, but it really is something else when it is being played to such a large international audience. And, yes, it made me nostalgic for the first Clinton presidential campaign too; it was the perfect song for the perfect message. He is very lucky indeed to be forever associated with this song. I hope Christine was at home watching this (and Bill's incredibly moving speech) and reflecting back upon her tangential role in the course of modern U.S. history.

After the speech when they played the song and I heard the voices, I got a chill as well. Whatever I think of the song on its own, in that setting, as a crowd-inspiring theme, it worked exceptionally well. You need something bobbing, with a concise message and a sing-along vibe for such a gathering.
I was very happy with Christine's little shuffle. Michele |

Don't stop is probably my least favorite of Christine's Fleetwood Mac hits but in the context of Clinton's speech it was still great to hear it.The speech itself underscored that Clinton is likely the greatest American political operative alive.

Lol! Actually, I think he did it because Stevie told him she'd never speak to him again if he didn't.

I loved his speech, that and hearing him come out to Don't Stop reminded me of my childhood, back in the 90's.
