Well, you are posting on other threads that people shouldn't attend the upcoming FM tour and you are calling the band fakes. It is Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey, just like it was in 1987 when Lindsey left and Billy and Rick joined, and just like it was still Fleetwood Mac when Stevie and Rick left and Bekka and Dave joined. And again when Billy, Bekka, and Dave were fired and Lindsey and Stevie returned. And it was still Fleetwood Mac when Christine left. And it's Fleetwood Mac now with Lindsey gone and Mike and Neil there. Not to mention Peter Green, Bob Welch, Bob Weston, etc. So yes, it's quite obvious you don't like FM anymore. If I'm wrong, just say you like the band, while posting how happy you are tickets aren't selling out or laughing at other posters who paid top dollar for tickets only to have the prices drop later. I don't recall ANYONE laughing about the poor sales of some of the Buck/Vie dates, or how many of the seats were comped by the casinos they played at, but again, that's the difference between you and other posters here. Shrug all you like, your words are there for everyone to see.

Like it wasn’t going to be a cash grab tour, anyway?

Exactly, the BuckVie album didn't involve backstabbing and included everyone in Fleetwood Mac, save one (most likely a member of the "faction" mentioned later by Lindsey) who chose not to record with them.

I am not seeing Lindsey being impossible to work with due to alcohol and mental instability problems, though. Still waiting for a valid "excuse" from that bunch on why Lindsey Buckingham was fired. Also, I am seriously doubting there will ever be another FM album , let alone TWO

And they ain't grabbing anymore of my cash, that's fer sure.

The rare quoting myself …

And that’s why I don’t have a problem with any of this. I want to hear the pre-1975 stuff. But, I don’t want Lindsey to do something so blatant as another cash grab. I expect more from him, but as a fan of the overall body of Fleetwood Mac’s work, I’m okay with this.

ummmm LB always wants to put out new music (hence not a cash grab tour IMO), but someone in the band ONLY wants to do cash grab tours. Lindsey was not happy with them being an oldies act I can tell you that.

LOL It was me that focused on it first. I think bwboy was commenting on me

Yep, I don’t think Lindsey was fired because he has a drinking problem or a mental illness. If that were the case...

Big difference that I can’t believe still needs to be explained.

I agree!!! Why is it so hard for people who don’t see the difference, to accept that there is a difference this time around?

Heh you are ruining my fun now! I didn’t find anything wrong with your post but couldn’t resist poking bwboy because I knew he’ll lash out in being called what he is - a Stevie fan. He always does, like a clockwork!

(Lol I’ll have to block him now so I don’t have to read insults he’s about to hurl at me next for this post. Happy Monday morning y’all!)

Because they don’t wanna see it?

Or because their favorite got her way so they have to justify it?

Except for Warner's next "Rumours Classic Anniversary Super Reissue" in another ten years time--or sooner. Or maybe they'll get innovative and start issuing CDs commemorating the anniversaries of the reissues.

After reading some of the convoluted justifications for Lindsey's firing in this and other threads, I'm beginning to wonder if some of those defending it might have some sort of drinking problem or a mental illness themselves.

Apparently Stevie disagrees.

What would you consider a valid excuse/reason? Seriously, what if they just said “we don’t want to work with him anymore” and that’s all the reason they gave?
