Default Danny's amps on 'Kiln House'

What kind of amps did Danny use on the Kiln House tour?
I'm sitter here listening to the "Madison Blues, Live & Studio Recordings" recordings, disc two. To me it sounds like either a Hiwatt, Orange or Marshall amp.. what do you think?

Not totally sure, but I DON'T think he used Oranges after Peter left. Supposedly, Danny & Peter only used the Oranges for a short time (but, obviously they left a big impression on us fans...Oranges are almost synonymous with those two guys). Some photos I've seen (but, I can't seem to find when I need to reference them...UGH! ) of Danny somewhere near this time-frame show him playing through a Fender Dual Showman head (and various speaker configs)...like what Clapton used during his Derek & the Dominos tenure.

Fleetwood Mac soundman Dinky Dawson's book Life on the Road indeed indicates that they switched to Fenders in November '69, at the start of their US tour, and that both Danny and Peter chose Dual Showmans with a reverb unit and pair of 15" speakers in each cabinet. There's a fair amount of info on the band's equipment in the book. (I don't know anything about this technical stuff myself, just stating what's in the book.) As Dinky left Fleetwood Mac shortly after Peter's departure, though, there's no mention of what equipment the band used after that time.

Which is exactly the set-up that Clapton used during his time with Delaney & Bonnie And Friends through Derek & the Dominos.

I can confirm that both Danny and Jeremy used Fender Dual Showmans on the Kiln House tour. I got to see them, when they played at Croyden's Fairfield Hall in Surrey, England. Christine had joined the band by then and this was the first of many FM gigs with Chris aboard that I was lucky to witness. Great gig, but they lacked a certain amount of confidence which was understandable, having lost their 'leader' Peter Green.

Fenders, really?
Oh, very strange to me 'cause Danny's guitar sound on these recordings sounds very creamy and fat, very much the guitarsound Peter and Danny had on 'Shrine 69' concert. Not at all that kinda sparkling metallic overdrive that the Dual Showmans gave (reference: the Boston Tea Party recordings). Jeremy, on the other hand, sounds very Fender, all the way.. He was probably playing a Fender Strat through a Fender amp set-up (Showman or Super Reverb, as on the last tour with Peter..)

The following picture shows Danny playing through a Hiwatt amp:

I borrowed the photo from sharksfan2000, my official source of Fleetwood Mac information
