Why should the band have to take new press pictures for the tour? Does that affect sales? I can't imagine one getting disappointed over pictures. That, to me, seems like wasted energy.
I want to know what they look like, so I recognize them on the stage. Michele

I agree that the ticket prices are high but last year I paid 125 plus fees to see Christina Aguilera, Pussy Cat Dolls and Danity Kane so paying 150 plus fees for Fleetwood Mac almost seems like a deal to me!!!
I guess when the bar is set that abysamally low I can understand it..you would would have to pay me significantally more than those stated prices for me to sit through any of the aforementioned shows save for FM.

To each his own I guess but I do have to say that it was worth it to pay that for Christina Aguilera. I know a lot of people probably dont like her but she does have an amazing voice and knows how to put on one hell of a show.

Ticket prices are a strange thing. I guess as long as people are willing to pay that much to gawp at a group of girls that thought a song like "Buttons" was a good idea, then they can charge whatever they want.

I paid less than that to see Leonard Cohen. I would've paid double if they wanted it, because it was Leonard freakin' Cohen and I never thought I'd have a chance to see the man live. It would have been more than worth every penny.

Perhaps there are people in the world that feel the same way about whatever it is the Pussycat Dolls call what they do.

All the same, baby. All the same.

Unhappy

i only read the first two pages, so forgive me in advance...

but i'm no longer excited about this tour.

1. tickets on sale two weeks before the holiday season? airfare to visit my mom, or one decent ticket + fees... FM can wait, assuming the show i would want to attend isn't cancelled in the meantime.

2. i liked SYW and enjoyed having six or so new songs every night. Big Love is great the first time, but that has become the "bathroom break song." i don't hold much hope for songs like Sisters or Fireflies, so i'm not sure what this "historic UNLEASHED" tour will bring.

3. no one could be bothered to make new publicity photographs. one day and a few thousand bucks go a long way. to me, it just shows how little effort is going into this. the website has been in limbo for so long now, i guess it barely matters.

4. and as far as those BOURGEOIS, RIDICULOUSly-priced ticket packages go, i'm disappointed. period.

i might sit this one out. i was excited on day one, but now the idea's not just lost its luster, it is beginning to stink.

anyone who's not been to a show - GO. those concerts easily make up some of the best hours i've spent, but i think i'm done spending money on the same old stuff.

these newly joined positive police are fine, until they begin to assert their control as they did on Mick's board to the point that they censure anyone else who disagrees with them. If you check out Mick's board, it's totally "closed," so no one's reading it. This board is "open." They are worried about the 'negativity' since anyone can read and contribute comments about the proposed money grab tour here.

I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I feel like there are alot of killjoys posting in this thread, but while I might not agree with it, I understand that opposing viewpoints should be allowed to be aired. I'm still excited about the tour and going to the shows. Other people arent as much, thats cool with me.
