Default “Red Rover” instrumental?

Is the “Red Rover” instrumental that is played before the show starts a new instrumental? Or is it the Say You Will version with the vocals removed? Hard to tell...

glad that he's having those gorgeous instrumentals played before his shows again.

he recorded bunch of them i guess maybe 10 or so years ago and they were played either before Mac or LB solo or BuckVie shows. there's Peacekeeper, Hold Me, Red Rover, etc. in 2012 at m&gs we were trying to convince him to release them for download or something. hope he would!

Yes, I too would love to have these instrumentals downloadable, Red Rover especially. (It's the best song of 2001.) Some people can create a pseudo-instrumental fairly successfully with the 5.1 albums by deactivating vocal tracks in the field and emphasizing other tracks. If somebody wants to try that with some of the latest 5.1 deluxe releases, you have my blessing.

I think an instrumental album from Lindsey could be a good seller. Just the thing for cafe music, or a CD to pop into the stereo when you have visitors over. He would probably say that he doesn't want to be "the background music guy," but he should be pleased that he is able to put out product that satisfies a variety of situations; music doesn't only have to be about listening intently with a pair of headphones.

If he put out a string of instrumental CDs I would buy every one.

And yes, if anyone can point to me to the kind of fan-engineered karaoke versions that David is talking about in the meantime, I'd be delighted.

Remember those string quartet CDs of Fleetwood music that littered Amazon every week for awhile?

The only reason I would ever want a 5.1 setup is to be able to turn on and turn off various channels in the mix. Fans are doing that now:

Stevie's solo albums and live performances would be a washout without the powerful backing choir.

The artist goes in based on the name on the album(s). Ergot it would have to be Stevie solo.
