She was definitely on the downslide of her career but you are one of the most famous female rockers in history. What she made in interest in a week could have paid for a cheap $50k video.
Maybe just maybe she knows the CD will not sell well and that $50k she might have to pay Chrissie may kill her profit margin. Of course I have no idea what the royalties would be but if she is left off for that reason its pretty darn cheap of her.
Da Googles says she's worth 75M. So 50K is a lot of money to her.

I do wonder how many "yes friends" she supports.

Oddly, Google says Lindsey is worth 80M.
Christine is 65M.
John is 50M.
Mick is 30M.

I would have thought that a big star like Stevie would have been worth double what her back up band is....

Wow, Mick only worth 30 million. OMG his divorces, drugs and horrible investment deals. No wonder he is forced to lease out parts of his restaurant and do meet and greets. During the past decade, he has to have made at least 15 million from touring. As they say, a fool and his money go separate ways. It really shows the motivation for backing Stevie for firing Lindsey. Mick could not have survived financially without her in the band. Like they say......follow the money.

I'm SHOCKED that the damned fool has managed to hang on to 15M!

He really is the poster child of how not to manage money. Idiot.

Somebody mentioned that Vinyl albums are outselling CDs now. Not entirely true. The average vinyl album cost is up 290% to $28.00 each.
CDs still move more units. But more revenue was made off Vinyl because they cost $10-$13 more each.
It's still cool Vinyl is doing well though.

Oh no this looks like another one of those, "Let's redo every vocal in the studio and try to match it up to the live video of(whatever song)."

Why can't we just get an actual live concert recording?

Why can't we just get an actual live concert recording AND why would we they choose to obviously beef up the audience reaction to her waving and singing the new, cringe-worthy lyrics "you say hey hey baby"? Seriously, like the audience would go nuts for THAT? Uggh.

LOL! I'm trying to find myself in the audience, but I don't know if this is from the Pittsburgh show or not.

My guess is because she sounds awful these days. From the trailer she even manages to destroy a simple song like Landslide. This appears to be Soundstage II, which I thought was easily her worse release even with all the redos. Give me Street Angel or the Red Concert over these recent bad sounding greatest hit live concerts any day. Hard pass.

Red Rocks was the worst concert video ever made. I have an old article from Billboard Magazine written by the editors of that spectacle and they said how excruciating it was to produce that mess. That video and the FM Tango in the Night concert video are dreadful to watch. At least with this new video we will get update studio recordings of all these songs. For that reason I'll probably buy the version available from Target. But I have zero desire to sit in a movie theater for 2.5 hours to see a faked live performance, and that has nothing to do with covid. I don't live in pandemic fear like the majority of the world does, so I would go to the movies if I felt it was worth it.

LOL at this point I just assumed the only ACTUAL audio from the concert on this film is the band and crowd noise. Everything else has been re-recorded and glossed to the max.

To me it seemed like there have been two "phases" within the past 10 years of the decline of her voice:

Phase 1 - the shouting, as we saw strongly in the 2009 Fleetwood Mac tour. Sustaining notes was replaced with shouting

Phase 2 - although the shouting may have gotten better in recent years, now shes struggling to hit the notes in the already lowered-key arangements that she previously didnt have issues with.

She can abruptly reach up to those higher notes like she does on the "I'm getting older too" part of landslide, but those gradual climbs from a high note to a low note or vis versa are where her issues really reveal themselves.

Yeah that is wrong. They had her at 75M for 15 years. She is worth a lot more.
