Default BN or FM or solo fan?

discussion on possible BN album/tour vs FM album/tour made me wonder what are percentages of fans on The Ledge who are:
  • primarily BN fans (i would suspect very small but i might be wrong) vs
  • primarily FM fans vs
  • primarily solo artist fans (either LB solo or SN solo or CM solo, doesn't matter who is your preference as long as it's one of them solo that you prefer).

EDIT: if anybody is confused by the poll question, you can go with the follow-up question:

if you have a choice of a solo album/tour, FM album/tour, or a BN album/tour as the next step, which would you choose?

in the case anybody was still wondering, my preference is LB solo - although i like his music with the band too, FM and BN are secondary to me. so my vote goes for the 3rd option.

Yeah, I was reading all the BN vs Mac debate here on the forum. To me since Christine left FM in '98, Fleetwood Mac is Buckingham Nicks, since they are the songwriters/vocalists. I perhaps have heard one or two songs from the BN album, but I am wholeheartly a Fleetwood Mac fan. Second would be Stevie's solo career.

...of course I guess the question could be asked of FM fans...which era?

for me Rumours era, then all other eras right in behind.

good question. since the poll is in the Rumours era forum, this poll is focused on that era too.

that's why i put in as solo artists just Stevie, Lindsey and Christine, and not others who are represented in separate forums (e.g., Peter Green, or Mick's various non-FM bands).

Solo - which in my case means Lindsey solo.

Don't want any more FM, definitely don't want Buckingham Nicks!

Just Small Machine for me

Buckingham Nicks did one album 40 years ago. It's hardly comparable to the body of work within Fleetwood Mac or each artist's solo endeavours.

I like them all pretty equally.

I chose solo. While I started out as an FM fan, I've definitely found that nowadays I'm much more invested in Christine's solo career and enjoy it just that bit more than FM.

I love the band the most. But, I love all of it. And I love B/N album just as much as the pre-B/N stuff. Love some Stevie's early solo work. And all the rest of the solo work from Mick, Christine, LB. Don't like John's album, very much.

I'm torn between the band and Stevie and Lindsey's solo careers. Stevie's Bella Donna (my favorite FM-related album) and The Wild Heart and Lindsey's Out of the Cradle and Under the Skin are convincing arguments for the solo stuff outclassing Fleetwood Mac. But then, there's Rumours, there's Tusk and Mirage. So many utterly fantastic songs scattered all over those three incredible albums. Hmm..

Like I said, I'm torn.

Well, I think we saw Buckingham Nicks on the road (back by Fleetwood and Mac) in 2003/2004, 2009and 2013 ... So, no BN for me.

I'm a fan since 1987 and never really cared that much for LB solo-work. Since I stand at his feet in Antwerp in 2009 I jus adore his stage-performance, but I doubt I'll stand through an entire solo-show ...

Stevie toured Europe solo only once 27 (twenty-seven) years ago, so I think it;s time she bring her own stuff on a stage in my part of the world. So I choose for SN solo.
